Tax For All (TFA) at taxforall.mof.gov.cy is Cyprus's central tax portal for businesses and individuals. As of March 2026, TFA handles all VAT returns, VIES declarations, and monthly PAYE filings. It is gradually replacing TAXISnet — but the migration is not complete, and knowing which portal to use for which task is critical to avoid penaltie
TFA (taxforall.mof.gov.cy) replaced TAXISnet as Cyprus's primary tax portal in March 2023. All VAT returns, provisional tax payments, and income tax filings are now submitted exclusively through TFA. s.
What Is Tax For All (TFA)?
Tax For All is the Tax Department's new unified portal, introduced progressively since 2023. VAT filings moved to TFA in March 2023, making it mandatory for all VAT-registered businesses. PAYE employer declarations followed in early 2025. The platform uses CY Login (Cyprus government single sign-on), which means your existing TAXISnet credentials work on TFA without re-registration.
As of March 2026, TFA handles:
| Function | Status on TFA |
|---|---|
| VAT returns (quarterly) | Mandatory since March 2023 |
| VIES declarations (monthly) | Mandatory |
| PAYE monthly declarations (TF7) | Mandatory since 2025 |
| PAYE annual declarations (TF7 annual) | Mandatory since 2025 |
| New taxpayer registration | Since January 2024 |
| Tax clearance certificate requests | Active |
| Secure messaging with Tax Department | Active |
| VAT and PAYE payments | Active since July 2025 |
| Account balance and filing history | Active |
What Is Still on TAXISnet (Not TFA)
The migration is ongoing and as of March 2026, several key filings remain on TAXISnet at taxisnet.mof.gov.cy:
- TD603 — GESY declaration on dividends (not yet migrated)
- TD1/IR1 — Personal income tax return (migration in progress)
- TD4/IR4 — Company corporation tax return (migration in progress)
- TD5 — Provisional tax for companies (migration in progress)
- Historical declarations pre-2025
The critical rule: If you are unsure which portal to use, call the TFA helpdesk at 17700. Using the wrong portal for a filing that belongs on TFA (like VAT) means your submission will not be accepted.
How to Create a TFA Account
Step 1 — Check Your TAXISnet Email First
Before creating a TFA account, verify that the email address registered on TAXISnet is current and accessible. TFA uses this email for all notifications and account verification. If your TAXISnet email is outdated or no longer working, update it on TAXISnet first before proceeding.
Step 2 — Go to taxforall.mof.gov.cy
Navigate to taxforall.mof.gov.cy. The site is available in Greek and English.
Step 3 — Click "Create Account" or Log In
If you already have TAXISnet credentials, click "Login" and use those same credentials. If you are new, click "Create Account" and choose between:
- Individual — for personal tax declarations (TD1, GESY on rental income)
- Legal Entity — for company VAT, VIES, and PAYE
Step 4 — Verify Your Identity
You will need to verify your email address and mobile phone number. For a legal entity, you must link your company's TIC (Tax Identification Code, 9 digits). This TIC appears on all official correspondence from the Tax Department.
Step 5 — Confirm and Access Your Dashboard
After verification, your TFA dashboard shows pending obligations, filing deadlines, and account balances. The dashboard also displays any outstanding amounts owed.

How TFA Is Organised: The Key Menus
Once logged in as a legal entity, the main navigation includes:
File a Return — Access VAT, VIES, and PAYE filing forms. Select the tax type, then the period (year and quarter/month).
Payments — Pay VAT or PAYE directly within TFA (since July 2025). Alternatively, TFA generates a PRN that you use on JCCSmart.
My Account — View filing history, outstanding balances, and correspondence from the Tax Department.
Requests & Certificates — Apply for a Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Certificate, or Good Standing Letter.
Secure Messages — Send queries directly to the Tax Department and receive official responses in writing.
Filing VAT on TFA: Overview
VAT returns on TFA are filed quarterly. The four deadlines are 10 May (Q1), 10 August (Q2), 10 November (Q3), and 10 February (Q4). A nil return must be submitted even if you had no VAT activity in the period — late submission carries a flat €100 penalty regardless of the amount owed.
The VAT form on TFA has 9 boxes (Box 1 through Box 9). You input your VAT figures and TFA calculates the net amount payable. See our full VAT filing guide for the step-by-step process.
Filing VIES on TFA: Overview
VIES declarations are monthly and due by the 15th of the following month. You declare the total invoiced amount per EU VAT number. The penalty for a missing or late VIES declaration is €50 per declaration. For full details, see our VIES filing guide.
Filing PAYE on TFA: Overview
Since 2025, all employer PAYE declarations (form TF7) are submitted on TFA, not TAXISnet. Monthly TF7 declarations are due by the last working day of the month following the payroll month. The annual TF7 summary is due by 31 July of the following year. Payments for PAYE are made through TFA directly or via JCCSmart using the PRN generated by TFA.
The Payment Flow: PRN and JCCSmart
TFA does not hold your money. When you file a return, TFA generates a PRN (Payment Reference Number). You use this PRN to make payment either:
- Directly in TFA — Click "Pay Now" after filing (works for VAT and PAYE)
- On JCCSmart at jccsmart.com — Enter the PRN in the payment section. JCCSmart accepts Cyprus bank cards, international cards, and bank transfers.
- Via bank transfer — Use the PRN as the payment reference to the Tax Department's bank account
Important: Since July 2025, PAYE payments through the old Tax Portal (taxportal.mof.gov.cy) are no longer accepted. All PAYE payments must go through TFA or JCCSmart.
Common TFA Issues and Solutions
"My company TIC is not recognised" — Ensure you are entering the 9-digit TIC exactly as it appears on your Certificate of Incorporation or tax correspondence. Contact the TFA helpdesk if the issue persists.
"I cannot see my previous VAT history" — Declarations filed before the migration to TFA may not display in your TFA history. They are still valid and recorded at the Tax Department. Access pre-migration history through TAXISnet.
"The system is down near the deadline" — Cyprus government systems frequently experience high load on deadline days. File at least 5 days before the deadline to avoid this.
"I filed on the wrong portal" — If you filed a VAT return on TAXISnet instead of TFA, it is likely invalid. Contact the TFA helpdesk immediately to rectify the submission before the deadline.
